Opening Walkro new Phase I

  • On November 15th, Walkro Belgium celebrated a grand opening of their new Phase I composting facility. In the daytime neighbours could take a look, and they might have been interested in the new odour reducing facilities. In the evening the mushroom industry was invited for a good look around and a festive evening, that took place inside the new building.

    The new compost factory is officially open!
    Mayor of Maasmechelen Raf Terwingen and Monaghan Mushrooms Ronnie Wilson are performing the opening handling.
    The party for the invited mushroom industry is coming alive.
    Before the party, take a good look at the scenery. You look at the inside of a phase I compost factory.
    A new compost bunker that will hold up to 1000 tonnes of mixture.
