On Sunday the 17th of May Cees Donkers celebrated the re-opening of his new farm, within a year after a devastating fire ruined his old farm. Many visitors used the occasion to take a look and shake hands with the proud owner.

On May 19th-20th 2006, the 12th edition of the Polish Mushroom Days was held in Sielinko. Some 58 companies, mainly from Poland and the Netherlands, participated in the fair. Traditionally, a mushroom festival is organised in nearby Wielichowo.
From May 30th - June 2nd, the 30th edition of the traditional Dutch Champignondagen was held in Den Bosch, The Netherlands. At the fair, the largest of its kind in the world, some 59 companies presented themselves. 3000 visitors were counted.
