China-Japan Pan Asia Pacific Mycology Forum

The China-Japan Pan Asia Pacific Mycology Forum will be held in Jilin Agricultural University in Changchun, China, from July 28 - August 5, 2008.


The Forum is organised by the Mycology Society of China and the Mycology Society of Japan. So far (July 10), more than 160 delegates from 12 Pacific countries have registered. The conference will consist of symposia, workshops and poster sessions. After the conference, Changchun city and the Changbai Mountains will be visited (August 2-5).

Besides subjects as mycotoxin, medical mycology, phylogeny and taxonomy, ecolology, molecular biology and genetics, edible and medicinal mushrooms will also be on the agenda.
