At the AMGA 2009 Conference Topterra will present Legro Australia Ltd to the Australian mushroom industry. The Australian company was established in Melbourne and will serve Australian growers with Topterra casing, MC Substradd supplements and Spaghnum blond peat.
General manager of the new operation will be Phil Badgery. Badgery has been working for many years in agribusiness, and he is well known in the mushroom industry.
Legro Australia will represent MC Substradd and Topterra products, both produced in the Netherlands, but will also offer Sphagnum blond peat to growers who wish to blend their own casing soil.
According to the company Legro Australia will offer the grower more mushroom related products at a later stage. For now Legro wants to concentrate on the afore mentioned products.
