Monterey Mushrooms, 2007
Monterey Mushrooms is the largest producer of fresh mushrooms in the USA. Through marketing channels the company is busy creating its own distinct profile. Monterey’s efforts were already rewarded during the 2007 PMA Fresh Summit, where their packaging won the marketing prize. Our reporter Jan Gottschall visited the trade fair and the company and traced the footsteps of Monterey products back from the supermarket to the spawn plant.
