Iberoamerican Workshop, Chiapas, Mexico

The Iberoamerican Workshop on Edible Mushrooms will be held 21-23 April 2010 in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.

The event, organised by the Mexian Society of Mycology, the World Society for Mushroom Biology and Mushroom Products (WSMBMP) among others, is designed to encourage discussion among growers, researchers, students and other professionals, interested in wild and cultivated edible mushrooms.

Keynote lectures by, among others, Daniel Royse (PennState) and José Sanchez (Ecosur), poster sessions and symposia will be organised.

The offical languages of the Workshop will be Spanish and English.

Registration before February 28th costs 100 dollars for professionals and 50 dollars for students and mushroom growers.
